![]() Movement 1 - mp3 download Moonlight Waltz / Lucy's Theme The first movement involves the disappearance of Timmy The Ghost. Lucy, who had always feared him, suddenly misses the ghost and packs up her backpack full of snacks and string to go out on an adventure. Movement 2 - mp3 download Swap Meet / Gary The Pirate / The Journey Begins Lucy stops by a swap meet to see if Timmy was just in the need of some cheap merchandise. She doesn't find him, but while looking around at all the cool (and dumb) stuff, she sees a kitten running around, who is snatched by "the coolest pirate ever", Gary. She notifies security, and though they chase him down and surround him, he gets away. Lucy takes it upon herself to save the kitten, and follows Gary into the Evil Forest. Movement 3 - mp3 download Lucy and the Bear/Kittentown/Moonlight Waltz (reprise) Lucy awakens after sleeping in the forest, and find herself lost. The strings in this section are bound to remind some people of Jo Hisaishi, though that was not my intent. Lucy wanders through the forest all day (I just had to put in a little string ensemble version of her theme in there - it's pretty), and in the evening, she stumbles upon a huge sleeping bear. The bear is represented by a tuba, and named Michael, both of those things in honor of Mikie Evans. Hoping he'll help her get through, she tries to wake him up. But alas, nothing seems to work. After jumping up and down on top of him, trying to tickle him, and such (represented by a piccolo/flute duet that will definitely remind Kevin of Banjo Kazooie - also unintentional), she finally pulls out a box of Cheez-Its, which happen to be the bear's favorite food. He wakes up and eats as many Cheez-Its as he can, and goes back to sleep, promising to help Lucy when he wakes up. She goes to sleep as well, and they are both awakened by a plethora of kittens, who lead them back to their home - a beautiful little town in a clearing that is inhabited entirely by kittens. The kittens tell Lucy they need her help, and offer her and Michael food and bed. The sun sets, and everyone in the town sleeps, except for Lucy, who wonders where Timmy could be, and what ever happened to Gary the Pirate. |
